St. Mary Catholic School Library

Charlene Amos, Librarian

My name is Charlene Amos, and I’m excited to join the staff here at St. Mary Catholic School as the Librarian.  This is my first position as a librarian, but I have six years of experience teaching English to middle school and high school students.   Both my love of reading and the joy I’ve experienced working in the education field led me to seek this position, and I look forward to helping the students here discover new books and develop a lifetime love of reading.

Melissa McCorvy, Library Aide

My name is Melissa McCorvy and I am the Library Aide.  I am excited to join the St. Mary staff.  My love of books and my love of this school directed me to this position.

My children are the fourth generation of my family to attend St. Mary School.  I have volunteered frequently for the last four years and was thrilled when I was offered this new opportunity to serve God through educating our students.  Previously I was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Community Christian School.  I have been a reading tutor for the last seven years.  I look forward to encouraging a love of reading and knowledge in each student.
