(10/14/2002) My dear wife Deb and I recently celebrated our 24th anniversary this month. We live in Plano, Texas where I am President of the Bank of Texas-Willow Bend. I have been in banking for 23 years. Deb, a Dallas native, is a Dental Hygienist in Richardson. We have 2 sons, Tad (David III) who is a freshman at University of Oklahoma and Stephen, who is a sophomore at Shepton High School in Plano. Both are soccer-heads who have played in Europe and the United States. Our family works on projects and missions which support the poor and those at-risk.

I consider St. Mary's to have been one of the greatest blessings of my youth, particularly for the high ideals it set in every student, while nurturing the will and the drive to be all you can be in this life. It created in each of us the desire to give back to our communities and to help others along life's way. Many of our friendships have been life-long, spanning many classes within the school. I am the third generation in my family to have attended St. Mary's, all the way back to my grandmother's (Bonnin) family who helped construct the old white school house that used to be at 9th and Orange Avenue. I regret the high school closed before our class could graduate.

My best regards to each of you and your families who have been blessed to attend such a fine institution. It is worthy of our support and our encouragement so that all may enjoy its many benefits. Prayerfully, David.

 

Steven D. Mazzola

I have been married to Linda Kay for 14 years and have 4 wonderful children that attend St. Mary's. Kay is an RN. The children are on the Orange Swim Team and have won competition medals. The boys are on the National Basketball Team. The children are on the Kumon honor roll

Danny Simar

Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Occupation: Former D.J. in Baton Rouge. Graduated from Stark High School in '73 and married Cheryl Boyd a '72 graduate of Stark High School. We have one daughter, Laney, age 15. Laney attends St. Joseph Academy for Girls in Baton Rouge.

Mary Diane Simar Vaughan

Missouri City, Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston. I am currently a speech therapist with the Houston ISD. I am married to Chris and have one child named Alex

Rosa Alicia (Barrientos) Fuller


2412 Bishop, Orange, Texas. Occupation: Secretary at St. Mary's School. I married Phillip Fuller in 1982. We have two boys: JohnPhillip: Sophomore at Texas A & M and JohnRoss: Senior at West Orange-Stark.

Lisa Marie Edgerton Gautier

I am a Kindergarten teacher at Bancroft Elementary. I have two children, Glenn Paul who is 14 and Terra Elise who is 11. I am married to Terry Gautier who is Chef at Baptist Hospital of Orange.

Sheila (Pousson) Lathrop

#13 Fenwick, Orange, Texas 77632. Occupation: Financial Manager for St. Mary Catholic School. I married to William B. Lathrop in 1978. I have three stepchildren and 3 grandsons.

Freda (Pousson) Riley

2983 Dogwood, Orange, Texas. I am the Computer Teacher and Technology Coordinator at St. Mary Catholic School.   Prior to having my children I worked at First Savings/Champion Savings for 10 years as a operator, programmer and manager. Was married to Charlie Riley for 20 years - now divorced for four years.  I have quadruplets that are also 8th grade graduates of St. Mary.  The three girls are currently in their second year of college.   They are: Chuck, Meagan, Justine and Chelsea.  My email is friley@gt.rr.com.

Julie (Simar) Patronella

7707 S. Wooten Circle, Orange, Texas.  I work for Mac Haik Management LTD as  the Administrative Assistant to the Property Manager, Tosca Narducci.  We manage all the Medical Office buidlings for Baptist Hospital in Orange, Beaumont and Silsbee.  I have just finished Real Estate classes and will be taking my state exam soon.    I married Sam Patronella in 1980. We have four children: Sabrina, who is married to Mark Allbritton and they have two children. A son, Blake and a little girl, Allie Jo.   Blake was born July 12, 2002, Allie was born May 20, 2004; Marsi attends Lamar University in Beaumont where she is majoring in Social Work.  Marsi and Louis Ackerman live in Orange and are raising their son Rustyn Louis, who was born October 13, 2005;  Samantha is 211  and works at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Beaumont as a Lab Assistant; Our son, Michael Roy is 12 and is in the 8th grade at Little Cypress Junior High.

Georgiana Bethard Bean

3311 Evergreen, Orange, TX 77632. I am married to David Bean. We have two sons: David Lawrence, 8th grade and James Hansford, PreK-4. I have been teaching Title I Math at Deweyville Elementary for the past 13 years. I received my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education (Math Specialization) from Lamar University.


Bill Hughes

5032 Old Peveto Road, Orange, Texas 77632. I am married to Anna with five children. Tiffani, 12; Jake 11; Michael 6; Delis 4 and Will 7 months. Four of the kids attend St. Mary's School. We live on a farm north of Orange. We just started a civil engineering consulting firm in Orange and we stay real busy with family activities.
